Pain Management Service

From 1 December 2016 a new ACC funded pain management service has been launched across New Zealand. This provides a single pain management service for clients at risk of, or suffering from persistent pain.

Habit Group (incorporating QRS) has been selected by ACC to provide this service in all areas of the North Island. Habit Group's Pain Management Service utilises a highly skilled and specialist multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised services to each client in all areas. Patients will no longer need to travel to main centres to receive care.

Our unique model represents a world class integrated service which can deliver fast and effective pain management services. It was developed following a review of Pain Management Service from 2014 – 2016 including the 2016 world congress in pain management held in Yokohama, Japan.

Habit Group comprises of a network of experienced local pain management providers within each region with the support of an expert pain panel and leadership team who can assist with complex presentation regardless of client location across the north island. Utilising an advanced telehealth solution we are able to bring specialist consultants to assist with patient care to any clinic room across the country.

The new service focuses on providing comprehensive pain management support and education across the full spectrum of health care. Clients will receive a wraparound ACC funded service which may include:
